OBJECTIVE:
Designing a minimalist website for an upcoming beat producer. Huguens, a talented beat producer, sought to establish an engaging online presence to showcase their music, sell beats through the Beatstars API, and connect with their audience via Mailchimp.
PROJECT SCOPE:
The main focus of the project was to create a sleek and user-friendly website comprising three key pages - Home, About, and Sign-Up. Upon landing on the Home page, visitors are warmly greeted with a sign-up popup, enticing them to subscribe to the artist's mailing list and receive exclusive updates.
COLOR SCHEME / STYLE
Following Huguen's vision, I opted for a black and white color scheme. This choice conveyed a sophisticated and modern look, reflecting the artist's unique style. The minimalist approach enhanced the user experience, allowing the music to take center stage.

INTEGRATION OF BEATSTARS API, MAILCHIMP
To facilitate beat sales, I seamlessly integrated the Beatstars API, enabling customers to browse and purchase beats directly from the website. Additionally, I integrated Mailchimp for efficient communication with the artist's following through newsletters and updates.
ENGAGING POP-UP FEATURE
Throughout the project, both the client and I engaged in thoughtful discussions on how to effectively retain customers and boost user engagement. After careful consideration, we mutually agreed on the implementation of an engaging pop-up feature. This feature would appear when users moved their cursor outside the webpage, presenting them with an irresistible last-minute offer to encourage their continued interest and connection with the artist's offerings.

SIGN-UP PAGE
The Sign-Up page catered to the client's goal of building a strong mailing list. With a sleek and straightforward design, users could easily subscribe to receive the latest news and exclusive offers.

TURNAROUND TIME
In adherence to the client's schedule, we successfully completed the entire project within an impressive two-week timeframe, ensuring that the website was ready to launch promptly.
